Grad Nite

I just got back on Friday from California where we celebrated Grad Nite. It was awesome because Disneyland and California Adventures were closed just for classes of 09. We were there from 9 pm to 6 am. The roller-coasters were heart wrenching, at least some of them anyways. The night was surely a night to remember. I wish I could relive the moment again. Space Mountain was fun and so was the Tower of Terror. Those rides are definitely recommended if you plan on going there.

A view of Saturday

Last weekend on Saturday May 9, my school held it's annual prom. I went with some friends. I was actually a little surprised at how I felt about it afterwards considering how I was deeply dreading it. The venue was at Silverstone Golf Club. It was simply beautiful. Outside, in the back of the club sat a roomy pond. The view from there was simply exquisite. After prom ended, I along with a lot of my other friends went to a restaurant on the strip. Afterwards, we explored a little around there and resumed our time at a friend's party.

The time has finally come....

There actually does exist a time machine. I found it on the way towards reaching my destination on the 4th floor.

Journey's Backyard BBQ

Yesterday I had an awesome time attending Journey's annual Backyard BBQ tour. There was a battle of bands with local bands participating in it and headliners, Saosin, closed the event. There were skateboarders, one of which I already knew about, Bucky Lasek. He was awesome. All of them were really great. They, along with Metal Mulisha moto cross drivers, performed. I loved the entire experience. I hope they have another one here next year. Next time I'll remember to bring my camera.

Spring

So it was Easter yesterday. I was forced to go to the park and had probably one of the worst times of my life. There were too many people and an immense amout of little children bundled up in one place. Pandemonium broke loose. The only thought that kept me at ease was knowing that it's spring time and the flowers will bloom and the cadence of my thoughts will merge on with my life. All is progressing.

Extreme Thing 09

This weekend was awesome. The weather was great, the timing was perfect, and the entire atmosphere was remarkable. I got to see Blessthefall, Suicide Silence, Framing Hanley, and Silverstein. There were other bands, too, but these were the bands that I greatly enjoyed seeing. I even got all of Silverstein's members autographs. Those guys are awesome. There were even BMX and skateboarding competitions. I can't wait for next year's Extreme Thing. I will definitely be in attendance.
